Half way to Pentecost ...

As we are now in the octave of mid-Pentecost (New Calendar), we as cantors, chanters and choir members are reminded that Pentecost is just around the corner. My how slowly Great Lent seems to pass, yet how quickly the Paschal season flies by!

Have you considered doing anything special for Pentecost Sunday? Our parish choir will be doing a few things, including the very traditional Invocation of the Holy Spirit before the homily.

The Holy Spirit shall descend on you, and His power from on high will enlighten you!
